WithJoker having now officially made his way onto the roster ofÂMortal Kombat 11, only one DLC fighter is left to be added to the game: Spawn. While we have yet to see the iconic comic book character in action withinÂMK11just yet, we now know when we can expect to get our first look at him.Announced today by NetherRealm Studios, Spawn’s first gameplay trailer forÂMortal Kombat 11will be arriving during Final Kombat. If you’re unaware, Final Kombat is a tournament that will feature sixteen of the world’s bestMortal Kombat 11players duking it out for the top spot. The tourney is slated to take place in Chicago on August 19, 2025.In addition, March 8 will also be the day in which Spawn’s first gameplay footage inÂMortal Kombat 11will arrive. Thedetails for the eventstate that Spawn creator Todd McFarlane andvoice actor Keith Davidwill also be present at the event alongsideÂMK11director Ed Boon to reveal Spawn to the world.
Perhaps most interestingly, Final Kombat is also said to feature “other content reveals” related toÂMortal Kombat 11. Even though we don’t know what this might mean just yet, it seems likely that it could be related to even more DLC fighters that could be coming in the future. The previousÂMortal KombatÂentry,ÂMortal Kombat X, featured two different character packs as DLC after release. ConsideringÂMortal Kombat 11is still going strong, it would make sense for NetherRealm to continue supporting the game with more characters moving forward.
It seems we could be due for a whole lot of newÂMortal Kombatnews in the coming month, so if you’re a fan of the famous fighting franchise, it’s probably worth getting excited.
