Based on some previously discovered information that data miners unearthed, we had heard that Rain, Mileena, and John Rambo from theÂRamboseries of films were due to make their way toÂMortal Kombat 11Âand that has now been confirmed.NetherRealm Studios today announced Kombat Pack 2 forÂMortal Kombat 11which will notably contain all three aforementioned fighters. The new trailer that was released to coincide with the reveal featured Mileena, Rain, and Rambo all squaring off with one another. Rambo, in particular, featured voiceover that has been confirmed to come from Sylvester Stallone himself, which is pretty dope.While Kombat Pack 2 can be picked up on its own, NetherRealm and WB Games are also releasing it as part of a larger package that it is callingÂMortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. This bundle will contain quite literally that has ever been released in association withÂMK11, including all of the fighters from Kombat Pack 1 and theÂAftermathexpansion.
For those looking to soon make the jump to next-gen, there is good news for you as well.ÂMortal Kombat 11will indeed be available on bothPS5andXbox Series X/S, and those who own the title already won’t need to pay an extra dime to experience on the forthcoming platforms.ÂMK11will be a Smart Delivery title on Xbox and will also be available as a free upgrade on PS5.
Last, but surely not least, crossplay is also confirmed to be heading toÂMortal Kombat 11as well, including the new versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Crossplay will only be available across Xbox and PlayStation platforms and is only said to be available in “select modes” though, so the full multiplayer offering seemingly be playable between consoles. Regardless, this is a great addition to the game and is one that many players will surely appreciate.
Mortal Kombat 11ÂUltimateis set to drop next month on November 17. This will also be the date in which the game’s next-gen iterations are released in addition to the Kombat Pack 2 fighters.
