Live-service games can be tricky to keep going andHelldivers 2has been doing a fine job for the past few months. However, when developers like Arrowhead have to constantly make changes to their titles, it’s going to be unlikely for the entire player base to be satisfied with the updates.

Despite its popularity,Helldivers 2also ends up facing balancing problems, and it’s been a while since Arrowhead launched a patch that nerfed numerous weapons to the point where the game started to become less enjoyable than before, but that could change soon.
Arrowhead Is Working on the Balancing Issue in Helldivers 2
One of the standout aspects of the Arrowhead team is that it’s always prepared to interact with the community it has created on channels like Discord, where most of the communication is handled by a manager called Twinbeard. Not only has it proven to be an effective way for the players to discuss the issues they’re facing, but it also helps the developers reassure their fanbase that they’re aware of what needs to be fixed.
Earlier this month, evenHelldivers 2director Johan Pilestedtadmitted that the studio has oversteppedits bounds with the way it’s been handling balancing, as the community kept pointing out that several weapons have become too weak thanks to the patch.

Fortunately, after weeks of waiting for Arrowhead to do something about the problem, a promising update has been shared by the community manager, Twinbeard, who kept his answer short because there’s no way to sugarcoat it.

As one of theHelldivers 2players asked Twinbeard about how long it’ll take for the developers to release a patch to fix the balancing in the game, the community manager stated that the team requires “more time.”
According to Twinbeard, the developers are “cooking” something that should be worth the wait, implying that Arrowhead is having discussions about the problems and is trying to find a solution that might please the majority of the players.

The Balancing Update Could Be Heading to Helldivers 2 in a Few Weeks
Although the community manager didn’t give a date on which players should expect the balancing update, some gamers have been observing Arrowhead’s previous track record.

The developer’s been releasing new Warbonds that include fresh content every month since release, and Arrowhead has a history of launching significant updates a few days before each one.

It’s important to note that Arrowhead hasn’t shared the release date for the next Warbond, but if one takes the developer’s previous schedule into account, it could launch sometime around June 13.
Which might mean that Twinbeard will soon have some more amazing news for the player base, as the balancing patch could make its way toHelldivers 2in a few weeks. Considering how Arrowhead recently got out ofa very hectic and dark period, it’d make sense if the incoming updates were delayed to some extent, but only time will tell what the developer is planning with its much-needed patch.
