Some of these leaks turned out to be true, such as the game having two protagonists and the first trailer being leaked hours before it was meant to be officially shared.

The long wait for GTA 6 is resulting in tons of false information being spread about it online.

According to the potentially false rumor, a developer at Rockstar “accidentally” leaked how long it would take for players to complete the story of the nextGrand Theft Auto, which revealed that the game’s main plot will take 40 hours to get through. It didn’t stop there, as it also claims that the title will include extreme weather mechanics, mentioning the inclusion of “thunderstorms.”

To add some authenticity to the latestGrand Theft Autorumor, two images were attached to the post, with one being a screenshot of the alleged Rockstar Games developer’s LinkedIn profile, who is someone called Sonny Blyth, a Games Tools Programmer at the North studio. The other image is what the leak revolves around, which states that the developers “are focusing on finalizing the weather dynamics, particularly thunderstorms.”

According to what theGrand Theft Autoleak claims, Rockstar is working on making “sure NPC behavior and activities change depending on temperature,” building on the rumor about the weather dynamics.
