Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will only receive Multiplayer free access this weekend across all platforms. This means you won’t be able to experience the campaign at all.

The free Multiplayer access will allow you to play 4 modes (TDM, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint) in 3 maps (Shipment, Farm 18, El Asilo) until December 19. The start and end times for the free access will be 10 am PT/1 pm ET on the aforementioned dates.
On the other hand, New World will provide free access to all content for free in its four-day weekend opportunity. The dates and times will be the same as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, but as you may already know, New World is only available on PC through Steam.
Both games will allow you to carry your progression in the free access period to the full game if you decide to buy any of them after the weekend.
If you are looking for a new MMORPG, New World might be a golden opportunity as the game has received many improvements since its original launch, and currently, it’s much easier for newcomers to get started in the game, thanks to a revamped starting experience. Also, the game now hosts the Winter Convergence event with special cosmetic items and activities.
New World was already one of the biggest MMORPGs on Steam, but with the arrival of Lost Ark as a free-to-play experience, the number of New World players dropped over time.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 received its Season 1 Reloaded update today, which also includes some new stuff forWarzone 2.0as well as DMZ. If you have already downloaded Warzone 2.0, you’re able to choose to download and install the data for the Multiplayer section of Modern Warfare 2 through the game’s menu, without being forced to download the story mode as well.
