The actors’ hectic schedules also increased the demand for work time and less for family. Johansson blamed this as the reason why their relationship failed to work. She claimed going home and just ended up staring at the wall because she was physically and mentally exhausted. There was too much challenge in finding personal time.

In another interview withCosmopolitanviaE! News, Scarlett Johansson admitted she did not regret severing ties with Ryan Reynolds. According to the actress, it was the best decision she made in her life. Still, she loved the experience of being married to theDeadpoolstar.
“I’m a big believer that when something feels right, you should do it. I’m a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural. It grew out of a romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody, and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be.”
Johansson shared that she was not “fully aware of the peaks and the valleys” and she was not prepared “to hunker down and do the work.” Both actors, at the time, were at the height of their careers.
