To finalize the recent marketing campaignwherein Deadpool took overMarvel’s Midnight Suns’ social media accounts, the developers finallyannouncedthat four characters will be coming to the game in separate DLC packs, all as part of its season pass — Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and Storm. The season pass will be included in the game’s $100 Legendary Edition, though it will also be purchasable individually. Its individual price, however, has yet to be confirmed.
Each character will have its own DLC pack, and, according to the Marvel’s Midnight Sunsofficial website, they will all be released throughout 2023. Besides the characters, all packs will come with new story missions, new enemies, and new upgrades to the Abbey, the heroes’ central hub, as well as various new skins and outfits.

It wasn’t specified if the new story missions will be directly related to the new characters, though it’s reasonable to assume that each character will at least get one mission specifically about them. Furthermore, it’s unclear if players will be able to interact with these characters in the Abbey. Fans can only hope that’s the case though, as antiheroic characters like Venom and Deadpool are sure to bring forth some interesting interactions.
Deadpool’s pack will be the first to come out, and it’s slated to release in early 2023. The remaining DLC packs will be listed in the following order — Venom’s, Morbius’, and Storm’s. Venom is a particularly notable addition, as he’s already in the game as one of the main villains, specifically because he’s under the control of Marvel Midnight Suns’ central antagonist, Lilith, the Mother of Demons.
Though these characters may come as a surprise for some, certain keen-eyed fans had already accurately guessed all four of them due to a promotional image that advertised the Season Pass. It featured a simple golden background with four dent patterns in each corner. One pattern was only a claw mark, one was claws and fangs, one was bullet holes and a long cut, and the final one was a scorched lighting bolt; we’ll let you figure out which is which.
The announcement page also states that the Season Pass includes the Legendary Premium Pack, which contains 23 skins that players can put on their characters at launch. You can check out the list of skin names on thesiteitself, but what’s most interesting is that hidden at the bottom of this list is the subtle confirmation that we still haven’t seen everything Marvel’s Midnight Suns has to offer. All skins are listed under their respective character, but the final two are nameless and are listed under “Unannounced Hero.”
