The process used to be a huge pain; you’d have to mess with the game’s internal files, which is against the game’s Terms of Service. Thankfully, the process is now super easy, simple, and won’t get you in trouble.

What Is Mouse Acceleration?
Simply put, mouse acceleration adjusts how far the cursor moves on your screen depending on how quickly you move your mouse. This lets you move your cursor faster than you otherwise would.
It seems like a great idea in theory: you can move your cursor faster than you otherwise would, meaning you can turn around and deal with that troublesome Spider-Man quicker than you otherwise would. However, it makes more sense in theory than in practice.
Since this can sometimes result in not knowing where the cursor will end up, many gamers turn it off.

How to Turn Off Mouse Acceleration in Marvel Rivals
To get to the mouse acceleration settings, open the settings menu, click “Keyboard,” and make sure you are on the combat menu. You’ll see settings for Mouse Smoothing and Mouse Acceleration.
For me, these were turned off by default. If yours aren’t turned off, click on them to ensure the “X” is showing, like in the image below.
If these have already been turned off, click them so the checkmarks appear, as shown below.
Mouse Smoothing reduces the jittering and stuttering that your mouse movements may cause.
While this is nice in theory, sometimes it means you’re unable to be precise, especially if you’re used to playing a PC shooter with twitchy controls. For this reason, many prefer to play with the setting off.

The same is true for Mouse Acceleration. While you’re able to adjust the activation threshold and acceleration, it removes some of the precision you have while aiming, resulting in the possibility of missing crucial shots or heals.
For this reason, many people prefer to play with the acceleration setting off.
