The game only had an “October 2019” release date until now. The game was announced in the west for a 2020 release, but it’s not the kind of game where you need to know Japanese to play anyway.Susume!! Mamotte Knighthas over 100 stages. You get to upgrade yourself every 4 stages with the money you earned. You can upgrade either your stats, your skills' levels, the levels of the barricades, or the princess' HP. There are four different levels of difficulty and 8 initially playable characters each with their own skills. There are over 1000 hidden unlockable characters too.
One of the new additions in this game is being able to class change your character at any time by pressing L and R simultaneously. It takes time to charge, but has unlimited use, making it easier to adapt to situation changes.
The music is handled by Yuzo Koshiro, who used an actual NES to record the tracks. The game’s OP song, in particular, was handled byHydden.
Susume!! Mamotte Knight: Hime no Totsugeki Serenadesupports up to four players in local or online co-op. The series is great to play with friends, so it’s nice to see it coming to Switch.
