Shadowhunters are a great class to quickly clear Chaos Dungeons inLost Ark. They harness the power of demons to annihilate their enemies.Shadowhuntersswap between two stances;Humanform andDemonform. At Level 50, players can choose to enhance the Demon form playstyle or remain in the Human form to deal damage. Both playstyles are viable in all forms of content, however in this particularbuild for Chaos Dungeonswe are going to focus on one, utilizing theDemonic Impulseclass engraving. If you’re just starting out with a new Shadowhunter or are looking to optimize yourChaos Dungeonclearing speed, this will surely be theultimate Chaos Dungeon buildto unleash the full potential of that chaotic power.
Multiple skills and builds have been tested in order to make this guide, and the focal point of this build relies on a rarely used engraving. Even though it’s regularly overlooked, thePreemptive Strike Combat Engravingis one of the strongest engravings forChaos Dungeons. (A more detailed explanation can be found here.)

Skills To Use In Chaos Dungeons As A Shadowhunter
In the first zone, move around avoiding damage until most enemies have spawned, gather them into asmall cluster, then blast them all away with big hitting skills such asDecimate,Howl, andDemon Vision. All of these skills should be able to one-hit kill normal enemies. Use the remaining skills to clean up enemies with low health and to generate moreIdentity Gauge. If you have very high specialization stats, you can use theIdentityskill to go intoDemon Form. Key skills in Demon form areBlood MassacreandLeaping Blow. Blood Massacre is excellent for eliminating the Named enemies and the final Challenge enemy in the second zone.
In the second zone, gather the Named enemies and useBlood MassacreandLeaping Blowto kill 2 or 3 of them. This should nearly reset all your cooldowns to use again for the next wave of Named enemies. Use the other demon form skills to clean up the remaining Normal enemies. Once more Named enemies spawn, repeat the process.
Another important factor, specifically for Demonic Impulse Shadowhunters, is that you should time the use of the Identity Skill wisely. How quickly you can get into Demon form will depend on when you will want to use it. Having higherSpecializationandWealth Runescan help greatly with that. If you are unable to access Demon form for the second rooms Challenge-type enemy, use theAwakeningskill instead of generating moreIdentity Gaugeto help save time.
For the Challenge type enemy at the end of this zone, either use theBlood Massacreor yourAwakening Skillto quickly dispatch of them.

Shadowhunter Gem Priority In Chaos Dungeons
The highest damaging abilities are thespecialtyones used in theDemonic Form. They don’t have individual gems, so they all benefit from the same gems for damage and cooldown. The remainder of the gems are less important, but focusing on the other high damaging skills is still worthwhile. This will be useful for not only Chaos Dungeons, but also for other types of content.
Stat Allocation
Stat allocation comes from the Accessories (Necklace,Earring, andRings). It can be very expensive to have a different set of Accessories for Chaos Dungeons, so you should choose those stats based on the class engraving you’ve chosen to play.
