One of these mechanics is the ability to place your own Vestige—the game’s equivalent to a Bonfire—at certain locations on the map. Creating a Vestige requires a Vestige Seedling, a consumable item that can be obtained by various means in the game. Here is how it works.
How To Use Vestige Seedlings
Vestige Seedlings are used to create temporary Vestigesthat function exactly the same way as regular Vestige rest points.Players can rest, level up, and invite other players to play Co-opwith these temporary Vestiges just like regular ones. To create a temporary Vestige, you need to use a Vestige Seedling on a patch of ground with anUmbral flower bed. These are distinct patches of ground with small, white flowers growing on overgrown roots. To place a Vestige Seedling on the ground, this is what you need to do:
WARNING: Only one Vestige point created by a Vestige Seedling can be active at one time. This means that if you use a Vestige Seedling before a fight and place it again just after it, the one that was placed before the fight will wither away and die, leaving the most recently placed one as active.
