If you’re looking for Brightcore, then you’re going to need to find Lava Caves. This can be a little tricky, as they tend to be very spread apart in the desert biome.You’re looking for a place in the desert where a lot of trees grow. These areas are few and far between, so they tend to stick out. If you have a glider, it can be very useful to pop into the air on a geyser and glide around looking for trees.This vantage point can be great for seeing things you might have missed walking around. Once you find the cave, consider putting down a marker to make sure you don’t lose track of it.

Once you have found your Lava Cave, and you’ve gone inside, you’re looking for ore deposits close to lava pools.These deposits will be a bright orange color and stand out from any nearbyObsidian,Ruby, orCopper.Since you’re going to be right next to lava, be sure to watch your footing and don’t let nearby enemies knock you into the lava pool. Once you have your Brightcore, get to crafting all the cool things!
