Original Story:Riot has been consistently adding new regions toLeague of Legends: Wild Riftduring the open beta testing phase, and now, they will be releasing the game in theAmericas, Brazil, and Latam. Once the open beta gets available in these regions, people residing there will be able to download the game directly from the app stores and play it without any registrations. Here are the details regarding the release ofLeague of Legend: Wild Riftin these regions.
Wild Rift Release Date in Canada, Americas
As per the earlier announcement by Riot in 2020,League of Legends: Wild Riftwas expected to release in Canada and the Americas this month itself, i.e., March 2021; however, the exact release date wasn’t revealed. Today, Riot Games has announced that the release date of the Americas Open Beta will be announced tomorrow, i.e., 9th March. It will also be available for players in Brazil and Latam too around the same time.
While there’ll be no limitations in Brazil and Latam servers, players from the Americas will not be able to match with players outside the continent even if they travel abroad. In addition to this, if you have been playing the game by registering your account on some other server, you will have to migrate it to the Americas region, and your progress will be lost, i.e., you will have to start from level 1 again. In short, your account will get reset completely; however, Wild Cores that you purchased will get restored.
Thankfully, Riot Games is preparing a special event for players in the Americas to catch up with the world in terms of Blue Motes, XP, champions, and even exclusive content from previous events.
Meanwhile, Riot has also announced a new global event calledWild RiftJourney that will be launching with the event announced for Americas regions. The complete details regarding theWild RiftJourney event will be revealed soon.
