Stewart, who is bisexual, recently appeared in Rose Glass’ A24 filmLove Lies Bleeding.ThePersonal Shopperstar recently joined a press conference on Sunday at the Berlin Film Festival for the romantic thriller.
“The existence of a female body thrusting any type of sexuality at you that’s not designed for exclusively straight males is something people are not super comfy with and so I’m really happy with it,”Stewart said in the press conference (viaTHR).

Stewart was beyond being apologetic to satisfy the thirst of fans easily offended by the photographs.“It’s okay to take different pictures and mix them up in a way that people aren’t used to,”she continued.“And want to go and that’s okay, too,”she added. The actor is rather insistent on the fact that the photographs were not designed exclusively for the straight male gaze.

I loved the opportunity,”she added, making room for more of gender-bending artworks.
