Kingdomis a highly popular manga series, adapted in an anime of the same name. The series was first released in 2012 and has been going on for three seasons which is directed by Kenichi Imaizumi.
Season three premiered in April 2020 and became split cour anime after just four episodes. It returned on 3rd May 2021 and has been a fan fave ever since. The series is now climbing its way up to 100 episodes.
Kingdom S3 Episode 17: Delay explained
KingdomSeason three episode 17 was scheduled to release on Monday, 9th August 2021. However, after ongoing delays due to the pandemic and Tokyo Olympics, theanime is now faced with a hiatusas a result of Typhoon Lupit, which hit Japan earlier this week.
The delay wasconfirmedby the anime’s broadcaster NHK who said on Twitter “Kingdom, which was scheduled to be broadcast tonight, has been postponed due to typhoon news.”. Along with the announcement, they show a new release date and time for the next episode (below).

KingdomSeason three episode 17 is scheduled to release at 8 AM PDT on Sunday, 15th August 2021 and will be shown on the popular streaming service,Funimation. For some timezones, this could be a day later on Monday, 16th August 2021.

Preview For Kingdom Season 3 Ep 17 Revealed
This episode will be titled ‘The Ultimate Instinctive Type’. In episode 16, fans saw General Li planning the attack and facing off against Lord Biao as Bi and Xin rush into battle.
Episode 17 will likely show the events leading up to the battle as the troops still try to stop their enemies from destroying Hangu Pass. Lord Biao and Li will likely come head to head after Biao tricked Li into thinking he was defeated.
