First, a mercy:Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2Patch 1.2 is not out yet. You won’t be drowned in patch notes here. But that doesn’t mean the drowning isn’t imminent - 34 pages is a lot to get lost in, and it’s coming very soon.
While it’s not quite a massive day-one patch that many games (includingthe previous installmentof this very series) love so much, it still earns that “massive” label. Whether or not those 34 pages of patch notes will come with a massive file size is yet to be determined, but the changes will be significant either way.

The PR manager forWarhorse Studios, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, made a post on X announcing the change, alongside a certain gif of Phil Swift plugging a leak with thunderous might.
The update’s got quite a few new items, including a new mode, but all those together could likely be described in 34 individual items - not 34 whole pages. And as expected, Stolz-Zwilling isn’t about to become a leaker anytime soon.
What’s In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Patch 1.2?
While details are scarce, we do know that this patch will bring ahardcore modeto the game, stylish new haircuts, and mod support - but it seems unlikely that those three items will account for all 34 pages of notes.
The gif posted certainly implies “fixes” are coming, though that could mean anything from weapon adjustments to bug-squashing. Perhaps a mix of both?
It’s unlikely that we’ll see any more major surprises, though. Big new features and content updates would certainly replace the headlines of “new hair” with something spicier, if they were able to.
We’re probably being shown only the best of what’s in store, making all their marketing guys as happy as possible. It’s doubtful we’ll see anything spicier than what we already know in those 34 pages, but hey, surprises have happened before. And it’d certainly explain the size.
