Speak to Katherine About Liechtenstein
The first step in the Into the Underworld quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is tomeet Katherine at a tavern in Kuttenberg. She can be found on the southeast side of Kuttenberg and is indicated by a red quest marker on your map.
Once you reach Katherine’s location, speak to her and discuss the findings of her investigation. Katherine will tell Henry that she overheard a beggar talking about how he’s a spy for a rich lord, but she’s not sure if the beggar was referring to Liechtenstein.

What she is sure about is that the beggar’s name is Goatskin, andhe likes to hang out at the Hole in the Wall Tavern. She sends Henry off to find him.
Searching for Goatskin at the Hole in the Wall
Make your way tothe Hole in the Wall Tavern, the only bar outside the main walls of Kuttenberg, and speak to the customers to find out information. Everyone you speak to will direct you to Cheynek, who can be found at a table in the middle of the tavern.Speak to Cheynek and ask him about Goatskin.
Unfortunately, Cheynek will refuse to give you information about Goatskin, unless you give him money.

While you’re able to try to save your money and convince Cheynek through dialogue checks, failing these will result in an additional step where you must prove your respect by fighting his friendin a fistfight.I recommend just spending 200 Groschen to get the information out of him.

Cheynek will explain howGoatskin likes to hang around the bars at night and mug drunk people. Instead of giving you the exact location of where he does these muggings, he instead gives you a vague description. He mentions that he likes to mug between the Horse Market and the Hradek Quarter.

Additionally, Cheynek explains that theworkers at the Bathhouse in Kuttenberg may be able to give you more informationabout where Goatskin could be. So, it’s time to make our way to this Bathhouse todo more investigating.
Catching Goatskin
Considering Goatskin likes to do his mugging at night, verify toselect the option to wait (or sleep) until it’s nighttime. Next, head to the City Bathhouseto speak to the manager of the establishment. The location of the City Bathhouse is shown in the image attached.
Once you arrive at the City Bathhouse at night, speak to Bathhouse Madam Beata and ask her about Goatskin. Madam Beata explains how Goatskin likes to target Germans for his muggings, considering they usually have more coin than other folk.
After finding out this information, this activates an objective of"setting up a trap to catch Goatskin.“Luckily, there’s one German in the bar, named Udo Von, who isbelligerently drunk. Due to him being German and drunk, this makes himthe perfect bait to catch Goatskin.

Speak to Udo Von, who is sitting at the table with the dice board, andtell him it’s time for him to go home. A dialogue check will occur, so pick whichever option you have the highest stat in to convince Udo Von to leave the bar. Once you pass the dialogue check, start following Udo Von to his house.
While you’re following Udo Von through the night,Goatskin will pop out from behind a wagon and attempt to mug Goatskin.
Speak to Goatskin to interrupt the mugging and begin to question him about Liechtenstein. you may attempt topass the dialogue checkshere, or you can justpay him to give you the information (150 Groschen).
Goatskin will finally open up and explain that he’s not entirely sure which noble he was spying for. Instead, he mentions thata guy named Samuel hired him. Now it’s time for us to hunt down this Samuel guy, who may have information about Liechtenstein’s location.
Meeting With Samuel
Samuel can be found in two different locations, depending on the time of day. If it’s nighttime, he can be found at theKing’s Solomon Tavern.Meanwhile, he can be found at theSynagogueduring the day.I recommend waiting until it’s daytime, considering Henry is not allowed in the King’s Solomon Tavern.
After waiting for daytime, head to the waypoint that shows the location of the Synagogue (northern section of Kuttenberg) and speak to Samuel. He can be found leaning against a wall and wearing a green jacket.
While he initially refuses to give information about Liechtenstein, he eventually agrees to help out if you help him first. He wants you to infiltrate an antisemites meeting, so agree to this to start the next quest objective.
Finding the Antisemites Meeting
Considering the antisemites only hold meetings at sundown, you mustwait or sleep until the clock hits the number 23. Once you reach this appropriate time on the clock,a waypoint will appear on the eastern side of townthat shows the location of the meeting.
Make your way to the meeting, and as you get close, a cutscene will begin. The cutscene shows Henry entering the meeting and soon getting locked inside by another man. Thisleads to a battlebetween Henry and two other men, so get your weapon ready anddefeat these guys in a 2 on 1 fight.
After defeating the men, Samuel appears to stop Henry from killing them. It turns out that Samuel stood you up, and the whole “antisemites meeting” was a lie, and there’s no such thing. Samuel does this because he believes that Henry is trying to kill Liechtenstein, which Henry then explains that’s not the case.
Henry eventually ends up convincing Samuel that he’s on Liechtenstein’s side, so he agrees to take him to his location. This leads to a final interaction between Liechtenstein, Henry, and Samuel as they discuss Lord Von Bergow and concoct a plan on how to save Hans Capon.
