Civitas Pragensis is the second quest during the point of no return section inKingdom Come Deliverance 2, and it’s also one of the shortest.
While not entirely challenging in its own right, there are certain decisions one can make that will change the outcome of the mission.
Civitas Pragensis shows Henry facing off against Erik in a duel, who is angry because Henry killed Istvan Toth.
During dialogue conversation with Erik, you have the opportunity to weaken his stats through dialogue, which can make the duel easier.

Enjoying the Celebration
The first objective of Civitas Pragensis is to speak to everyone at the celebratory party.
You can go about this sequence however you’d like, and even though the only mandatory quest is to speak to Ruthard,I recommend speaking to Janosh and the others to build up the story moment.
When speaking to Janosh, you may instantly tell that he’s feeling down, even though Sigismund has retreated. Janosh explains to Henry that we lost too many men and victory isn’t enough to heal the wounds of the dead.

Next, speak to Dry Devil, Katherine, and Samuel. These three are drinking together in honor of their fallen comrades, and then they ask you who you’d like to toast too.
Your decision doesn’t matter here, but I recommend choosing “To the fallen"to get on the same page as everyone else andincrease your reputation. Feel free to continue in dialogue with these characters, although it’s not mandatory.
Next, it’s time to speak to Ruthard and tell him goodbye. He’ll thank you for all his hard work and for freeing him and the others from captivity, which you may then wish him on a good journey or talk to him about Sigismund and Jobst. After talking to Ruthard, a cutscene will begin.
Accepting or Declining Erik’s Duel Invitation
Kubyenka approaches the fortress on horseback, to which our allies are surprised he’s alive. Kubyenka comes with a message — he wants to fight Henry in a duel.
If you accept this challenge, Henry will ride to Erik’s location for a duel, but if you refuse to accept the duel, the Civitas Pragensis main quest will conclude.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has already sold over one million units in its first day, and that’s enough to recoup development costs.
Dueling Erik
If you decide to accept Erik’s challenge and fight him in a duel, there are ways toweaken him through dialogue checks.
I noticed that the duel is much easier if yousucceed in the available dialogue checks(2 in total), so choose them if you have high speech stats.If you fail, the fight will be harder.
Players can beat Erik by utilizing Master Strikes and Stab attacks. Make sure to bring a weapon with high stats, considering Erik’s armor is really strong and weak weapons won’t cut it. I recommend a Sword or a Hammer.
After you defeat Erik once and for all, the Civitas Pragensis quest will be completed, and you’ll begin the “So It Begins” main quest of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
