Both the manga and anime adaptation ofJujutsu Kaisenare currently at a point where fans are dying to jump into the next chapter and episode. Don’t worry, we aren’t going to give you any spoilers for the manga, but as for the anime series, the events of the previous episode have made each and every one of us cross our fingers, wishing for Gojo’s survival.
On top of that, Riko Amanai’s death was another surprising and heartfelt moment in the series. Such cheerful and full-of-life characters shouldn’t have died this way. And now, with the new episode close to air, The battle between Geto and Toji will be on full display.

What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?
While Geto assisted Gojo in protecting Riko, Misato Kuroi was abducted. As they discussed their next plan of action, Gojo was adamant that Kuroi’s survival should come first. Somehow, they were able to successfully rescue her, and Geto sent reinforcements to guard Naha Airport, and Kento Nanami and Yu Haibara were given the assignment. After that, Riko, Gojo, and Geto went to the beach and took her out to eat, sightseeing, and to the aquarium, assuring that she had the best last day of her life.
The next day, while Geto and Gojo escorted her to the Tomb of the Star Corridor, Toji Fushiguro suddenly attacked Gojo, surprising everyone. Geto summoned a giant Curse to devour Toji, but he escaped easily. Toji displayed incredible speed and physical prowess and overpowered Gojo with his zero Cursed Energy, while Gojo struggled to keep up with his movements.
During the intense battle, Gojo’s Infinity halted Toji’s fly heads, but he created more blind spots, took advantage of Gojo’s defensive move, and fatally struck him with the Inverted Spear of Heaven by invading his barrier. Despite Satoru’s attempts to react, Toji wounded him multiple times before delivering a final blow, leaving him on the floor to die.
Meanwhile, Geto escorted Riko to the Tombs of the Star, where he asked her one final time if she really wanted to merge with Tengen. Riko decided to live alongside others, but tragically, Toji shot her, causing her death. Toji then confronted Geto, proudly claiming he had killed Satoru Gojo. At the end of the episode, Geto summoned two powerful Cursed Spirits to face Toji.
