Another action-packed installment of Jujutsu Kaisen is on the horizon, continuing the ongoing battle between Gojo and Sukuna. With Sukuna now using the power of Mahoraga and the newly summoned Agito, the battle has taken a drastic turn as it has become a 3 vs. 1 fight. What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?
Amid concerns over Mahoraga’s adaptation to Infinity, Yuji remained hopeful, drawing parallels with Gojo’s strength and anticipating his recovery. Shoko Leiri observed Gojo’s healing slowing down and questioned his techniques. Doubts were raised over Gojo’s potential defeat, triggering memories of Toji Fushiguro. Despite the struggle, Gojo found a strange satisfaction in facing a real challenge after being the strongest for so long. The battle continued, with Gojo’s determined attacks against Mahoraga’s power. As the battle continued, Gojo punched Mahoraga in the face and then pushed him back.
Gojo recited chants to restore his power, unleashing CTR: Red. Sukuna awakened and used Rabbit Escape, while CTR: Red’s impact fell short, letting Mahoraga escape. Gojo realized Sukuna shielded Mahoraga, who had adapted to Infinity. Afterward, Sukuna distracted Gojo with smoke, allowing Mahoraga to attack from above, while Sukuna used Max Elephant’s water shooting. Impressed, Gojo praised Sukuna for being able to use Shikigami without summoning. Defending against Mahoraga, Gojo was wounded by Sukuna, and he battled against their combined assault.
As Gojo pondered adapting to Red or Blue, Sukuna introduced a new Shikigami named Agito, made by merging Totality and Nue. The battle turned 3 vs. 1. Unfazed, Gojo teased Sukuna about the new Shikigami. The fight resumed, and Gojo evaded all their attacks, even Sukuna’s Max Elephant. Gojo attacked Mahoraga with a weak Red attack and contemplated his final option: using the Unlimited Hollow Technique.
