The previous few chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen solely focused on Kashimo and his fights. First, he fought with Panda, which was a one-sided battle as Kashimo easily overpowered him, and then he fought a battle with Hakari. Hakari proved a much tougher opponent, defeating Kashimo. But what really stole the hearts of the fans was not the battle, but instead the bond they started to share, which ultimately made them friends after the fight.
Watching the old characters returning after a long time was also a treat for the fans. Now that Kenjaku, Noritoshi, Maki, and other characters are back, the new chapters are changing the story drastically. Previously on Jujutsu Kaisen…
In the previous chapter, we saw a small flashback of Noritoshi’s house, where Shino is dwelling in his house. Meanwhile, Noritoshi returns, and he is confused to see the old man. Upon asking how he entered the place, Shiho gives the credit to Kuroroshi and addresses him as the captain of the guards. To this, Noritoshi replies that the captain is Heishichi and then asks the old man if he has forgotten about the next head of the family, talking about himself.
Shiho reacts to this by saying that a child like him cannot deceive him but also says that he does look similar to master Noritoshi. As soon as Noritoshi realizes the threat, he opens the door of the room and finds Kenjaku sitting there. He mocks Noritoshi by saying that he is late, but it’s understandable as Tokyo’s transportation grid is not working.
Kenjaku then discusses with Noritoshi how the latter thought that the Jujutsu Headquarters would have become puppets if the higher order were from the Kamo Clan. But then he says that as he looks like Suguru Geto, there was an order for his execution, concluding that only a few were responsible for corruption.
Kenjaku also figures out that as Gakuganji has an influence over the conservatives, he wanted to use him to take back the notice from the headquarters. He further says that as Gojo is considered to be an essential accomplice in the Shibuya incident, removing his seal would be considered a criminal act. At this point, no hope is left for Noritoshi.
Noritoshi asks if he has also taken care of the ones responsible for recommending Suguru Geto’s execution. Kenjaku replies in affirmation and adds that he has also dealt with those who named Okkotsu as Itadori’s executioner. Noritoshi asks Kenjaku if he intends to kill him. But Kenjaku denies it and says he won’t mess up the place and can’t do anything even if he is alive.
Now the scene cuts to the current time where a giant creature has invaded the place. Maki says that it looks like a cursed spirit, but she has a weird feeling about it. The giant creature attacks with an amazing speed and slams Maki into the wall. The creature then takes its real form, and it turns out to be Naoya.
