While we’ve had many scintillating courtroom dramas over the years, not many can compare toSuits. The USA Network series was a hit amongst fans, going on to rule the charts for years. When the series came to an end in September 2019, fans were left ruing the loss of one of their most beloved shows.

It doesn’t come as a shock that when NBC announced that they were going to come up with a spinoff series, fans couldn’t be more excited. The wait is almost over. The series’ first trailer has been released. But fans aren’t sure whether it’s a good thing or not.
Suits: LAhas a big task on its hands
Suits: LAwon’t be the first attempt to cash in on the legacy ofSuits.Back in 2019,Pearson,a show focussing on the life of Jessica Pearson after she bid adieu to her NY life, was released.
Sadly, it failed to recreate the hype that USA Network would have expected it to recreate. So, 5 years after the conclusion ofSuits, and a failed experiment, we have the Stephen Amell starrer.

NBC knew real well that it had its task cut out in recreating the hype (and love) that the OG show received. And to maximize its chances, it hadAaron Korshback as the creator. TheSuitscreator-cum-executive producer will be at the helm of affairs of the spinoff.
It seems like the 58-year-old will have a reliable cast at his disposal, with the likes ofStephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, Bryan Greenberg, and Victoria Justice being in the fray. But there is one hiccup. He doesn’t have a Harvey Specter or Mike Ross at his disposal.

Fans blastSuits: LAfor lacking the vibes
Let’s be honest.Suitswouldn’t be the same without its star cast. While Harvey Specter and Mike Ross were at the center of everything, we all loved the vibe Donna Paulsen brought to the series. Rachel Zane was also instrumental to the show’s success.
For the diehard fans, they were the show. And that is just what the spin-off lacks. As NBC has released the trailer, fans can’t help but ignore the fact that something is missing—the characters we all love.

Reverse-Flash Meets Oliver Queen but in a Different Universe, Fans of Stephen Amell Have 1 More Good News Ahead of Suits: LA
Of course, we have Amell taking the lead. We haveGreenback Bogeyplaying in the background. But despite all the efforts, fans can’t help but feel the difference.
Nahh it’s not giving that Harvey Spectar and Mike Ross vibes !!!

Going to be hard for them to win fan love. It is not giving Harvey and Mike vibes at all.

This will be hard to remake
One X user brilliantly summed up why this show will have a hard time cementing its place in fans’ hearts.
I’m wondering if it’s not too soon to release this…🤔Die hard fans of the predecessor are already bashing it and it hasn’t even aired yet.Maybe if one will watch, one must watch with new eyes. Forget old Suits, you’re watching a whole new legal drama.
While the user might have a point, it won’t be humanly possible for fans to move on from the original. For an entire generation that has grown up watching the likes of Harvey Specter and Mike Ross, it won’t be easy to make their peace with Ted Black.
The trailer ofSuits: LAcan be seen above. Suits: LA will be released on February 23rd on NBC.
