There were many aspects inNarutothat felt conclusive after the series ended. Even the mangaka felt that there wasn’t a need for a sequel. Although there became one, it was for Kishimoto to pass the baton to his successor. WhileNaruto’s story may have ended in his opinion, there was much left untouched and unsaid. Things could have been expanded in a better manner in some cases.

The world-building in the series is one that is greatly loved by many as fans find themselves immersed in just how the shinobi world works. Kishimoto’s imagination ran wild in ways of giving the inner workings of the series its finest details. Some characters deserved what they got while others needed more.
Masashi Kishimoto Missed Out on a Big Opportunity
Masashi Kishimotohas given most of the characters inNarutotheir shining moment. While in some cases it arrived on time, others took a long time to find the spotlight. Regardless, he has given almost all the characters their place in the series that makes their importance undeniable. In the midst of it all stood Team 7. Through them, the story started and while they all found their calling, their journey made fans see the four as more than just teammates.
The members of Team 7 were more like family who stuck together and had each other’s backs. They helped each other grow as characters and while doing so, each and every one of them adorned iconic outfits. The characters all jumped from one milestone to another, giving them opportunities beyond their wildest imaginations.

Naruto: The Hyuga Clan Had One Shinobi Who Was So Strong He Beat Itachi and Shisui Uchiha With a Single Byakugan
For the readers who followed the series with all their hearts, it was a journey that was never forgettable. However, because of how much they progressed and in so many ways, there were certain stages that were skipped. This included the hierarchy that made the Shinobi so renowned.
Team 7’s Reunion Never to Be
Both Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were all Genin-level Shinobi, and while their power and skill grew exponentially, their ranks within the series in no in-between of two extremes. The titular character went from being a Genin to a Hokage and his long-time rival did the same, instead becoming a Shadow Hokage.
Seeing how differently they all progressed, their collective and individual strength helped the members of the team skip levels and find their own calling in life. As a result, the Jounin vest wasn’t something either of them were able to adorn. The fact that something like this wouldn’t even be possible now despiteBoruto Two: Blue Vortex’songoing run makes fans wonder if it was simply a missed opportunity or too much to ask for.

Passing the exams isn’t an easy feat, especially for an intellectually struggling knucklehead like Naruto. To think that he would still be a Genin even as a Hokage makes it even more melancholic as to how none of them would be seen together with Jounin vests.
