Following the success of Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, developers MachineGames recently announced a new DLC as part of theXBOX Games Showcase.
The trailer, which began by recapping some of the highlights from the base game such as ziplining past the Great Pyramids and boating through thedense jungles of South America, went on to reveal a small glimpse into what the new DLC may have in store.

Titled The Order of Giants, the DLC will be set in Rome as confirmed by the voice over, which cryptically states, “Beneath the streets of Rome, enter the city of Antioch. Find the secret Relic. Bring it back to the Holy See. Defend the secret. They worshiped the giants.”
A Da Vinci Code Influence
Though the trailer is only brief, it certainly appears to be inspired by The Da Vinci Code, which similarly was set in Rome and explored the solving of mysteries and menacing secret societies.
Whether it is intended to be a direct crossover or remainset wholly within the Indiana Jones universeremains uncertain, but given the absence of the Da Vinci Code name, I think the latter is the better bet.

The trailer showed Indy exploring various crypts and catacombs, gazing up at a large statue of a Knight Templar and encountering a group of sinister masked figures in dark burgundy robes.
It’s certainly intriguing and, as expected, the City of Rome seems to berendered in stunning detail, much like the locations of the original game.

A release date was also provided, with The Order of Giantsexpected on September 4t,h 2025. It will be available on XBOX Series X/S, PC, and PlayStation 5.
