As posted by one such player on the game’s subreddit, a particular feature should be part of the game to make it more lore-accurate.

While games in the past have had tag team matches present, there weren’t any attacks that would allow players to use both teammates simultaneously for a simultaneous attack. Some games were focused on this, likeTenkaichi Tag Team, which had such attacks. Recently, as hype for the game was building, the upcoming game’s subreddit became a resting place for like-minded, enthusiastic minds.

One such player posted this on the subreddit, stating that they would want the upcoming title to have Team Attacks and, more specifically, some iconic team attacks that have appeared in the anime series:

Other members on the subreddit agreed that the feature would make a fine addition to the game, and they expressed their excitement. They also named other tag team attacks that should make it to the game’s novelist.

While all of these could make for excellent additions to the game’s move list, they would only be feasible if the game allows the player to perform attacks of this kind. WhileBudokai Tenkaichihasn’t been a Tag Team-focused series and has focused on individual battles more, perhaps this would be an excellent opportunity to switch things up for the series.
