Following hisexit from the CBS sitcom and a chaotic tour,the actor returned to the TV screens with a new sitcom,Anger Management.And he claimed thatThe Big Bang Theorysignificantly benefited from his new show, particularly due to its programming schedule.

“You gotta think about the shows that my show launched,”he toldThe Guardianin an interview. Sheen further went on to claim that he“should have added in a clause”to be compensated for the shows that followed him as a lead-in.

The actor, who hadpreviously made a brief cameo in the sitcom, went on to criticize the show, calling it “stupid”and“lame,”while also taking aim at its showrunner, Chuck Lorre.

Further during his interview with The Guardian, Charlie Sheen added his criticism of the show, calling the show“a piece of sh*t,”while suggesting that it would not have survived“without us as a lead-in.”
Talking about the CBS sitcom, the actor said,

I’m sorry, but Big Bang Theory is a piece of sh*t – it’s a stupid show and it’s just lame, about lame people. I like the kids in it, but that show without us as a lead-in is… goodbye.
While he shared that he is rooting for the cast, the actor took a jab at the show’s creator,Chuck Lorre, saying,

And I’m rooting for those kids because I know who they’re dealing with. The fact that they’re still sane is crazy. You know? He’s a bad man. And I’ve backed off from him for a while.
Sheen and Lorre started on great terms while working onTwo and a Half Men, a show during which he became the highest-paid TV actor, reportedly earning $1.8 million per episode.
