However, Kubo shocked everyone by bringing him back to the narrative but not giving him any significant role.

While Byakuya was extremely powerful, he couldn’t last long in front of Äs Nödt. During the 50th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump, Kubo gavea special interviewwhere he gave a confusing answer that felt like his response to the controversy regarding Byakuya.
Kubo was asked to give advice to the young manga creators who are entering the industry, and his response was to stay away from social media. The mangaka revealed that he would suggest new manga creators do not indulge in social networking sites because it creates pressure on them from the fans of their work.

This was indirectly denoted to the Byakuya controversy, as he hinted that the fans ofBleachnagged him so much that he was forced to bring him back. But becausehe had nothing planned for the character, and in the end, Byakuya lost all his significance because he couldn’t contribute much to the narrative after being brought back.
