Helldivers 2is indeed one of the most entertaining third-person shooter games but at one point, things do get dull. The game features 9 difficulty levels but once you’ve unlocked every Stratagem and gained enough experience, even the Suicide difficulty will feel like a walk in the park.
A post on theHelldivers 2subreddit sparked debate on this topic and it’s safe to say that the game has become boring for high-level players. The game becomes uninteresting in 8 or 9 difficulty-level missions because players like to play it safe. Yes, that’s the ideal way to complete missions but the point of the game is also to have fun while completing missions. Arrowhead definitely needs to do something about this as PlayStation 5 players just got another reason to deleteHelldivers 2, the closed beta ofValorant.

It’s not like Arrowhead is not aware of the problem, in fact, they recently announced that due to fan feedback, they are changing the way they approach Premium Warbonds. A major update is lined up forHelldivers 2as rumors suggest that the Illuminate’s invasion will happen very soon. The game will only keep up with the competition if they roll out a big update featuring new weapons, Stratagems, and gear.
