50 Cent recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and dropped some pointers on how he has stayed out of trouble while the likes of Diddy have found themselves embroiled in some high-profile cases with federal law enforcement.

The rapper talked about how despite all the money that he has procured, thanks to his smart business choices and raw talent, he has stayed away from certain vices that have otherwise landed some big names in trouble. Among them, is being celibate. This, according to the rapper, gives him a clear head to work with, not just on his music, but also on the ventures that he is engaged in.
A huge part of 50 Cent’s philosophy is taking care of himself
Speaking onThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the talk-show host asked the rapper why he would choose to be celibate, given that it is hardwired to be a driving force in human biology to want to procreate. On the question of being married, the rapper said:
I am safe. I am not a happy hostage. I am here, man. I am free.

Largely, the rapper talked about how he would want time for himself, and how he has decided to put value in himself internally, rather than seeking it externally, which becomes the norm when you are dealing with the kind of environment that50 Centfinds himself in.
While 50 Cent secures himself, Diddy’s case becomes more complicated
50 Cent has partnered with Netflix to produce a documentary about Diddy’s case, which will chronicle the allegations made against the latter, including that of s*xual trafficking and racketeering. It is heavily speculated that everyone from politicians to A-list actors might find themselves in hot water, given that evidence that is allegedly being turned in againstDiddy.

While 50 Cent has been on the straight and narrow for quite a while, Diddy’s case seems to be attracting a lot of attention in the media, while the silence that has come from Hollywood is very telling of the magnitude of the issue that the elite of the industry might be facing. Diddy’s case, which initially concerned him, has had a lot of close confidants coming out of the woodwork, pointing fingers at those who could also allegedly suffer if Diddy is indicted in any sort of federal proceedings.
