The Boyshas been collecting cast and crew members fromSupernaturallike they are Infinity Stones. It started off with showrunner, Eric Kripke, who was the mastermind behind both the series; which was followed by Jim Beaver and Jeffery Dean Morgan, who appeared in the trailer for the fourth season. Ever since Jensen Ackles showed up in the third season of the superhero satire, fans of the hit CW series have wondered when the other half of the Winchester brothers will arrive.
It would seem that they will not have to wait too long. Recently, Jared Padalecki, who played Sam Winchester, gave an interview where he commented on the matter. The actor revealed that he has been asked about it before. However, one core aspect of the Prime Video series has made him hesitant; the nudity.

Although he would not mind indulging in it himself, he worries about his family being forced to spectate and has one condition if he were to join the cast.
Jared Padalecki Has Been Hesitant To JoinThe Boys
Jared Padaleckiand Jensen Ackles played the roles of Sam and Dean Winchester respectively inSupernatural,having grown up with these characters and made audiences do the same. When the series ended in 2020, Ackles made his way into the world ofThe Boys, playing the role of Soldier Boy. Since his appearance, fans have been begging Padalecki to do the same.
“Yeah, he has reached out to me,”Padalecki said.
Recently, the actor spoke on exactly this during an interview withCollider, revealing thatEric Kripke has approached him about it as well. However, one thing that has made him hesitant to commit to it is the graphic nature of the series.The Boysis known for having extreme nudity in almost every episode. Although Padalecki has the option of not doing it, it would seem that the possibility is unlikely to him.

“I love watching it but imagine putting yourself in it. I’ve got kids. My mom and dad are still alive. I’ve got grandparents that are alive. I don’t know how to just unplug their electricity when the show airs.”
Being embarrassed about hypothetically traumatizing his parents and grandparents, he has maintained a distance from the series. However, it would seem that he has changed his mind now, as he revealed the one condition that would make him join the show.
Jared Padalecki’s One Condition
Jared Padalecki then went on to say that although he is interested in joining the series, his age has forced him to put forth one condition for the same. The actor revealed that he is no longer as young as he used to be, so he would require a lot of preparation to look his best in the series. Not for the action sequences, but the nudity.

“And my response to him 90% of the time is, “Dude, I’m 41 now with three kids. I’m not 25 and working out three hours a day. I know you’re going to f*cking make me get naked, so give me a heads-up. I’m in, but let me get a nutritionist and a trainer and get in the hyperbaric chamber for eight months before you make me show up.”he went on.
Padalecki revealed that he would require at least an eight-month heads-up so that he could start obsessively working out. He would get a nutritionist, a trainer, and a hyperbaric chamber so that he could look his best for those hypothetical nude scenes.
“But yeah, it would obviously be a lot of fun to see Kripke again and to work on that show, which is a great show that I’m a fan of.”said Padalecki.
He added that regardless of such vanity, he is very interested in being a part ofThe Boys, even being a fan of the show himself. He mentioned that he would also love to work with Eric Kripke again.
