Conan O’Brien went to great lengths to meet the master director, Hideo Koijma, in his office in Tokyo while he was working onDeath Strandinga few years back. O’Brien’s presence in Kojima Productions brought laughter to many and slightly lightened the mood around the office space.

He was perplexed by the trailer Kojima showed him and made some witty comments about naked Norman Reedus in the trailer itself. This made Kojima reveal one detail about it that Reedus had asked Kojima to take care of in the game, concerning his appearance.

It was Kojima’s conscious decision to make Reedus appear more muscular in the game on his request. He wanted to appear stronger and more muscular and asked Kojima to please ensure that extra muscle was added to him in the game.

The confession was followed by a hilarious remark by Conan O’Brien on Reedus’ shower scene in the trailer. It took him by surprise since he was not expecting to see Reedus showering in the trailer. Hesaid:

The hilarious comment was followed by Kojima asking O’Brien whether he would like to be a part of the game or not. He was delighted by the offer and accepted it with utmost respect.

He was then taken to a room full of 3D scanners where his expressions were captured, and he was all set to be featured in the game, and he did. Kojima held up to the promise of including him in the game.
