It’s no secret thatBoruto: Naruto Next Generationshas been under heavy scrutiny since its premiere. As a sequel to the Naruto series, this series had a huge expectation placed upon it by fans. But in terms of emotional depth and character development,Borutocould never match its predecessor. The series still faces constant criticism, but according to fans, there is one area whereBorutohas arguably surpassedNaruto— which is the fight choreography.

Naruto is using Rasengan on Momoshiki

The fight between Kakashi and Obito has long been hailed as one of the best fights in the entireNarutoseries. However, when comparing this fight to the battle of Naruto and Sasuke versus Momoshiki inBoruto, there is a strong case to be made thatBorutohas already outdone one ofNaruto’s finest moments in terms of choreography, animation, and scale. And whether fans are ready to admit it or not, this is a conversation that needs to happen.

The Groundbreaking Battle between Kakashi and Obito inNaruto: Shippuden

From a technical standpoint, the fight between Kakashi and Obito was breathtaking. As bothKakashi and Obitowere former teammates who had once fought side by side, this confrontation is regarded as one of the most emotionally charged battles inNaruto Shippuden. The fight choreography was fluid and well-paced with powerful storytelling.

Without any massive explosion or flashy teleportation, this fight was purely filled with raw Taijutsu and innovative Ninjutsu; which according to fans, was able to capture the essence of the series masterfully.

Just read the manga and watch the fights in the anime

Naruto and Sasuke vs momoshiki is actually better than any fight from Shippuden or og Naruto choreography wise but people won’t admit because it’s boruto. It only lacks depth like the way kakashi vs Obito had.

the anime momoshiki fight is one of the best fights in all 3 shows

The animation in the fight is nothing short of stunning. The fluidity of movement and the attention to detail in each action sequence is a step above most other battles in theNarutoseries. Every frame of the fight is dynamic, utilizing the environment, and jutsu in creative ways that keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

The Naruto and Sasuke vs. Momoshiki fight serves as a reminder to fans who have been reluctant to giveBorutoa try because of the poor reviews associated with the series that the sequel is capable of producing amazing moments that equal or even surpass the finest moments ofNaruto.

WhileBorutomay not beNaruto, this series definitely has something to offer, and it may be worth giving the series another chance.
