Siege of Orison, the biggest dynamic event in Star Citizen, will soon go live as Alpha 3.17.2 update was launched earlier today. This is probably the most action-packed event that Star Citizen has had since its launch. If you wonder how to begin or complete the Siege of Orison in Star Citizen, we have a step-by-step guide to share with you!
As the name implies, Siege of Orison is set in the city of Orison in Crusader, which has turned into a no-fly zone after the invasion of Nine Tails rebellions. Your ultimate mission is to clear out the city from the hostile forces and disable the no-fly zone by getting access to the IFFI system.

Siege of Orison contains multiple phases, and while most of it will be based on ground combat, at some points you will need to use Crusader’s fighters to destroy the enemy’s anti-air turrets and defense systems.
Before we get into the details, keep in mind that the Siege of Orison event is not live yet. It is supposed to begin tomorrow, July 30.

How To Begin Siege Of Orison
Open your mobiGlas by pressing F2 and then head to Contract Manager. Now, go to the Generals tab, and here you should be able to see a Priority tab with a mission called “End Nine Tails' Occupation at Orison.” If you can’t see it, this means the event has not started yet.
Once you accept the mission, you can head to Orison, Crusader to begin the event. If you want to play the event with your friends, make sure to share the mission with them.
Once you landed on Orison, ensure to head to Orison’s General Hospital at the Cloudview Center to make it your default respawn location. This way, if you die during the event, you will be spawned at Orison instead of your home planet.
Now, to begin the event, you should take the elevator to the roof from the Crusader Industrial Showroom at the Cloudview Center. This will trigger the event.
How To Complete Siege Of Orison In Star Citizen
Siege of Orison includes 5 phases. In the first three phases, you should set free three different stations in Orison and defeat the Nine Tails lieutenants that hold access keys. Then you should travel to the Admin Center and kill Mendo Ren, the Nine Tails commander who has the final IFFI key.
The route below for completing the event has been suggested byCloud Imperium Games, but you can finish the event in your own way, though defeating all Nine Tails lieutenants and the commander is a must.
Clear The Solanki Platform
Request a shuttle to the Solanki Platform from the Crusader Industries Showroom’s roof and land on the platform. There are lots of enemies to kill on this platform. So, get prepared for a tough fight. After clearing the area, you should also defeat lieutenant Remy Kettle and get his IFFI key.
Clear The Brushwood Platform
Your next stop is Brushwood Platform. You won’t get to face huge resistance here, but still, you have to deal with lieutenant Devin Marcus and his troops.
Make sure to carefully explore all the platforms for loots, as there are many valuable things to collect in Siege of Orison. Some of the enemies that you kill will have special keys to open lockers, which contain combat gears, medical supplies, and other forms of utilities.
Clear The Hartmoore Platform
This is your final step before heading to the Admin Center. Hartmoore Platform is already a military showroom for Crusader Industries. You will need to get rid of Nine Tails' anti-air turrets on the platform before you can face lieutenant Nolan Acker. There are many combat gears and weapons on this platform. So, make sure to grab enough resources.
After getting the IFFI access keys from three lieutenants, now it’s time to defeat commander Mendo Ren at Admin Center. You can only land on Admin Center using ships, and this means you will need to deal with the anti-air turrets and other Nine Tails' defense systems before starting an on-foot battle.
Attack To The Central Cargo Barge
Once you successfully land on Admin Center, head towards the Central Cargo Barge for a final attack. After drafting Mendo Ren and acquiring his key, you can now find IFFI in a maze container and disable the no-fly zone around Orison. This marks the end of the activity.
