Episode 6 ofHawkeyehas finally arrived, which means Season 1 has sadly come to an end. The episode delivered plenty of great moments, with fans left wondering how on earth is The Kingpin so strong?
As one of the few Marvel villains that has no superhuman abilities, The Kingpin has many viewers scratching their heads on how he could take so much punishment in the season finale ofHawkeye.
How Is The The Kingpin So Strong In Hawkeye? Abilities & Powers Explained
As mentioned previously, Wilson Fisk, also known as The Kingpin, doesn’t have any special superhuman powers or abilities. Instead, Fisk is simply a businessman and the head of a huge criminal organization. Due to his involvement in the world of crime, he has had numerous run-ins with Daredevil in the Netflix series, and now Hawkeye in the new Disney Plus series.
Throughout The Kingpin’s battles with both Daredevil and Hawkeye, the villain has taken a fair bit of damage. Most notably in theHawkeyefinale, where the character is shot in the chest with an arrow, hit by a car, and plenty more. So, what exactly are The Kingpins abilities?
Not only is Fisk an incredibly gifted intellect, being able to run his own criminal enterprise and be one step ahead of his enemies at the same time, he is also a ‘master combatant’. Kingpin doesn’t have any previous training in close-quarter combat, but due to his sheer size and muscle, he has an incredible amount of strength.
Of course, as mentioned previously, Fisk is still human, which means he can only take a certain amount of damage. But due to him being a much larger man than most, he is able to deal and take more damage than the average human. Some viewers do suspect that he also has a bulletproof vest underneath his clothing, which would explain how he was able to take an arrow to the chest inHawkeyeEpisode 6.
But, other than just being a brute force of nature and incredibly strong, The Kingpin doesn’t have any specific abilities that allow him to battle Marvel heroes such as Hawkeye and Daredevil.
