House of the Dragon - the much-awaited prequel of Game of Thrones - is finally close to its official release. The TV show is based on the Fire and Blood book series by the legendary author, George R.R. Martin. GOT was an incredibly successful series (despite its utterly disappointing ending), so it’s no wonder that the community has high expectations from the prequel series.

HBO announced House of the Dragon back in 2019, and we got the first trailer earlier this year in May. The teaser gave us a glimpse of the all-powerful House Targaryen while also flaunting a lot of dragons. The network spent around $150-$200 Million (Via:Variety) in season 1 of the upcoming TV show, and we’ll soon find out what the creators had done with that impressive budget.
