Welt is a 5-Star Imaginary type character followingthe Nihility PathinHonkai Star Rail. He has the ability to hold up enemies and reduce their SPD significantly, while also providing powerful Imaginary DMG to finish off his opponents.
Welt’s Best Build & Relic Sets
As Welt can play the role of eithera Sub-DPS or a Support,you’ll want to focus on a few different stats to get the most out of him:Effect Hit Rate, ATK, Imaginary DMG, and CRIT Stats.Essentially, you’ll want to ensure that his Ultimate and Skill are able to effectively reduce the enemy’s SPD, while also dealing alarge amount of Imaginary DMG. 4-Set Of Wastelander Of Banditry Desert & 2-Set Of Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise
A 2-Set of Wastelander of Banditry Desert will increase Welt’s Imaginary DMG by 10 percent. A 4-Set will increase Welt’s CRIT Rate by 10 percent when he attacks debuffed enemies, and his CRIT DMG will increase by 20 percent against Imprisoned enemies.Welt’s Ultimate and Technique both have the ability to Imprison enemies, so this Relic Set will be especially useful for increasing Welt’s overall CRIT Stats.
As for Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise, this will increase Welt’s Effect Hit Rate by 10 percent. Meanwhile, his ATK will increase by an amount that is equal to 25 percent of the current Effect Hit Rate with up to a maximum of 25 percent.This will allow Welt to more easily reduce enemy SPD with his Talent and Ultimate.Here are the main stats and substats to choose for each piece.

As we mentioned before, Welt can play as a Support and Sub-DPS, so you’ll want tokeep his damage stats high, including CRIT Stats, ATK, and Imaginary DMG. Effect Hit Ratewill give Welt a higher chance to apply debuffs to enemies, therefore reducing their SPD.

Welt’s Best Light Cones
Just like with his Relic build, you’ll want to give Welt a Light Cone that focuses on either increasing his damage or buffing his Effect Hit Rate.Depending on if you’re more focused on making Welt a Support or Sub-DPS, this will affect the Light Cone you should choose for him. Here are a few suggested options.
5-Star Light Cone: In The Name Of The World
In the Name of the World will increase Welt’s DMG to debuffed enemies by 24 percent. When Welt uses his Skill, the Effect Hit Rate for this attack will increase by 18 percent, and ATK will increase by 24 percent.In the Name of the World is the perfect choice for Welt, with its ability to hone his Support and Sub-DPS abilities. Not only will you have a higher chance of applying debuffs to enemies, but your DMG output will increase significantly too with this Light Cone.
4-Star Light Cone: Good Night And Sleep Well
Good Night and Sleep Well will increase Welt’s DMG dealt by 12 percent for every debuff the target enemy has, stacking up to three times. This effect also applies to DoT (Damage over Time).As a 4-Star alternative, Good Night and Sleep Well takes the number one spot for Welt. Once you apply debuffs to your enemies, you’ll receive a solid increase in DMG with this Light Cone.
3-Star Light Cone: Void
Void will increase Welt’s Effect Hit Rate by 20 percent at the start of the battle for 3 turns. If you’re looking for a starter Light Cone for Welt, Void is the best option for you.It will ensure that Welt can apply debuffs to enemies more easily, especially at the start of the battle to gain an advantage.

Welt’s Best Team Compositions
Welt is a great member to have on the team to not only reduce the SPD of enemies, but he can be themain team member to deal AoE Damage.With his team, you’ll want to ensure he has aMain DPS by his side, preferably one that can dealpowerful Single Target DMG.Then, of course, you’ll want a few additional Support characters. Here are a few options to choose from.
