Helldivers 2is a game which still holds much appeal for players. Four months after release, despite some infuriating issues, the game still prevails and maintains a healthy player count. Certainly, the numbers aren’t at the level of what they were when the game first launched but there are those many fans still fighting for galactic democracy.
To keep the game fresh, developers are always willing to listen to the fans and take any suggestions and complaints on board. With a game of this magnitude, players will always be looking for bigger and better weapons or new stratagems to influence the game. With such a hot topic there is always room for debate amongst the community.
Helldivers 2 Fans Want More Firepower
One fan took to theHelldivers 2subreddit to make their feelings clear about what they wanted to see introduced to the game and this brought about some debate, with some in total agreement and others pointing out the flaws. The suggestion in question was the introduction of claymores, remotely detonated to be clear.
Some fans are still waiting for confirmation and clarity of what ‘clack clack clack‘ actually means following this posting, however. In addition to suggestions about firepower and weaponry, theHelldivers 2community have always been vocal about the strategem ideas that they would like to see introduced to the game. Who better to post these ideas to, than Johan Pilestedt?

To be fair, the former CEO is well known for his engagement with the community and his willingness to listen to the ideas that fans propose. Will these be incorporated in the future? Well never say never and judging by Pilestedt’s engagement with fans on Social Media, it appears that he is taking these ideas on board.
Are The Numbers Decreasing on Helldivers 2?
When the game first launched back in February it took many in the community completely by surprise and quickly rocketed to the top of the Steam charts, knocking off the previous top game,Palworld. This was in no small part to its comparisons to cult classic movieStarship Troopersand you can understandably see why.

However, four months on the bubble has started to deflate slightly on the galactic quest for democracy and player numbers have taken a drop. Indeed many players think that thelatest round of patches have brought more bugs to the gamethan they are fixing.
Despite this, the game still maintains a mostly positive review on Steam and judging by comments on social media, there is still the appetite for the game. Whilst it will always be a struggle to appease all fans with any modern game, Johan Pilestedt is still actively engaging with fans and ensuring their voices are heard.
