Helldivers 2developers at Arrowhead Game Studios have been hard at work to provide players with a smooth gaming experience, as the game has seen major server issues since its launch. Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt recently announced that the server issues have been fixed.
He also said that the studio will now be focusing on its“original plan”and teased“exciting things.”While it was not revealed what those exciting things mean forHelldivers 2, a data miner has now found ample unused stratagems in the game files that might be connected to the upcoming content.
Dataminer Finds Unused Stratagems in Helldivers 2 Game Files
Helldivers 2player and data minerStodaltook to the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit and said that they have come across unused stratagems in game files. For those unaware, stratagems are abilities that players can unlock from their Super Destroyer ship that supplies support to the player’s teams on the ground that players can use to get an advantage over their enemies.

The player said that they first found encrypted data, but as they scrolled, they found a bunch of stuff that isn’t in the game as of now. The player added that they also found the“Illumination Flare”in the files, and a new faction is almost confirmed.
Stodal found over a dozen stratagems in the game files, such as DropoffCombatWalker, RaiseFlag, MedicBackpack, DropoffCargoContainer, HealthPackRack_PresidentReward, Nuke, DropOffLav, and many more.
The player mentioned that their findings are accurate and that if anyone wants to check the legitimacy, they can check it out for themselves. They also told players how to go about it.
New Faction and Enemy Types in Helldivers 2 Are Also Allegedly Confirmed
The data miner also mentioned that they have found a new faction called Illuminate. It is also rumored that the Illuminate faction was ready at launch but didn’t come into the game for some reason. This could mean that the Illuminate faction might arrive in the game with the next update.

Some names of the enemy types were also found by the data miner: Adept, Ghoul, Illusionist, Outcast, Pathfinder, Summoner, and others. It remains to be seen if these enemy types make it to the game or not.Helldivers 2fans discussing the leak said that the CombatWalker stratagem is the name of the Mechs that has been teased by the developers.
Players added that the stratagems with the additional text“PresidentReward”could be the Premium Battle Pass version of the gear that would be available in the game. Some also said that it could be a unique reward system. One player said that BugThumper could be“mining objective stuff,”and another added that DropOffLav could be a light armored vehicle.
