Fans were expecting Grand Theft Auto 6 to launch in 2025, but Rockstar formally announced that thegame has been pushed backto July 08, 2025. This means fans have had a year strapped on to the wait, which was unbearable for people starved for news.

The recent Steam release of Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced isn’t going over well with fans.
Rockstar Games has finally thrown the world a bone by uploading thesecond Grand Theft Auto 6 trailerto the company’s YouTube channel. While it doesn’t show gameplay, it does offer another look at the protagonists and the sparkling filth of its game world.
Grand Theft Auto 6’s Second Trailer Looks Incredible
The new trailerdoesn’t offer a great deal of insight into the story. It shows more of the two leads, Jason and Lucia, as she leaves prison and the two rekindle their romance, trying to make it in the outside world.
The trailer shows some of the explosive missions that fans have come to expect from the franchise, including one on a plane where the protagonists are neatly falling to their deaths. What’s most impressive is the glitzy party world of Vice City, filled with the usual cast of crooks and killers that Grand Theft Auto fans have come to expect.
It’s a shame that there wasn’t any gameplay footage, or at least some that’s not heavily edited. Then again, fans have towait another yearbefore they can play it, so it’s not as if there’s any rush.
Grand Theft Auto VI still looks incredible, and the world is waiting with bated breath to get their hands on it. In the meantime, the 2025 games have the freedom to launch without being crushed in sales, while the 2026 games are getting ready with the delay button.
