After causing much chaos at the Oscars, fans are now excited for the movie’s sequel which will reportedly be directed by Yamazaki again. However, this time a familiar face should lead the Kaiju film, and it’s none other than Hiroyuki Sanada. Instead of the Westernization of the movie, fans deserve an authentic but talented cast and theShōgunactor is the perfect choice.

In 2023 the Godzilla franchise received its 37th movie written and directed byTakashi Yamazaki. The director was known for his exceptional visual effects and had received numerous accolades, andGodzilla Minus Oneadded to it.

The Yamazaki directorial returned to the theatre to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the original 1954 classic. Along with the rerelease, Toho also surprised fans by announcing another Godzilla film with the same director.
