When God Of War first came out in 2018, it was hailed as one of the best games. Now, the sequelGod Of War Ragnarökhas been released, and it looks to be another great game. The game picks up where you left off, with Atreus and Kratos on their way back after scattering Freya’s Ashes. You then face off with Thor when he turns up at your home, and from then on, a new adventure unfolds for father and son to tackle.

Like in the first game, there are many collectibles in Ragnarök. you may find artifacts, hacksilver, realm dust, and many more things. The thing this guide will focus on, which is new to this game, is the Sparkling Crystals.
How To Get Sparkling Crystals
SparklingCrystals are made from Crystalline Shards and Crystalline Fragments,which are the amber crystals found around the Crater Vanaheim. Remember thatyou cannot access the Crater until you complete the favor Scent Of Survival. In order for you to be able to turn the Crystalline into Sparkling Crystals, you need to find the Wishing Well that is located near the jungle in the Crater. You can then go to a platform and interact to throw all the Shards and Fragments of crystalline you have into the Wishing Well, it will then return your armor after the first use of the Well and other crafting materials like Sparkling Crystals, Purified Crystalline, Gleaming Crystal and Shining Crystal.
What Can Be Done With Sparking Crystals
All the crystals you get from the well can be used for crafting and upgrades, but the Sparkling Crystal is what you want for the top upgrades.With your new Sparkling Crystals, you are then able to upgrade your armor at forges–this is the only thing that Sparkling Crystals are needed for. They are required for high-level upgrades, or if you are running low on Hacksilver for other upgrades, you are looking to do. You can actually sell Resources at forges to get more Hacksilver. Only really do this as a last resort, as there are so many armor sets to upgrade and swap between, so you will most likely need the resources at some point.
How To Find The Wishing Well
Once you have unlocked the Crater after completing the Favor Scent Of Survival, you need tohead to the jungle to start another side quest. This side quest, Return Of The River, will then help youlocate the Wellonce you have explored the jungle area and completed this quest.Find a Mystic Gateway and fast-travelto the gateway at the jungle entrance. From the gateway, turn around and go straight on, then take the first left, where you’re able to jump the gap with a grapple. When over the gap, head to the chain to open the gate ahead of you. Follow the cave until you get to a gap to jump. You will see theair coming out the wall, so throw a spear in there and carry on through the cave. Once you get to the end of the path, you can lift and open a gate, and in there is the Wishing Well. There will be plenty ofamber crystal moundsto break open to get you your first Sparkling Crystals.
