It’s like the Wii-U but in reverse.
Goat Simulator 3is a chaotic titlefrom the Sweden-based game studioCoffee Stain Studios. Announced in 2022 in a funny trailer parodyingthe iconicDead Islandtrailer,it later arrived onPC,PlayStation 5,Xbox Series X|S, and mobile.

Based on a recent listingreported by Nintendo Everything, the goat-infused open-world game is also preparing to launch on Nintendo Switch this year. According to a listing on Amazon Japan, the hilarious sequel is set to release on the hybrid console on November 7.
Although the listing was pulled soon after it appeared, it did mention that the game would be available with theDigital Downgrade DLC, which brings the “remastered garbage” that previously appeared in the first game.

Alongside the DLC, the Amazon listing also mentioned thatGoat Simulator 3would be available in digital and physical editions.
While it’s best to take the listing with a pinch of salt,a possible release of Goat Simulator 3 for the Switch does make sense with the game’s initial release anniversary closing in.

The First Goat Simulator Took Half A Decade Before Landing On Switch
The prequel took five yearstoland on the Switch, and it launched across mobile platforms, PC operating systems, and two console generations before finally arriving on Nintendo’s hybrid console. It seems like the hilarious sequel will have the same fate, as it has been available on several platforms for nearly two years.
Despite being titledGoat Simulator 3, the crazy open-world game is actually the second mainline entry in the franchise. The title also aligns with the studio’s approach to their absurd series, which saw the release of a wide variety of goofy games and expansion packs starring a goat as the protagonist.
Those includeGoat MMO Simulator, which unifies a very refined MMO experience with Goat shenanigans, andGoatZ, a post-apocalyptic take on Coffee Stain’s popular “high-tech Goat Simulator.”
While they are far from offering genre-defining experiences,Goat Simulatorgames are actuallyperfectfor chilling, unlike their AAA counterparts, whichrequire constant time and attention.
