The actress once revealed that while on a plane, a fan of the movie was getting interrupted by the actress. The fan, however, did not notice that she was the real Rachel McAdams and he simply told her to“Get out of the way”.

In an interview with notable comedian and host Conan O’Brien onConan, Rachel McAdams talked about how she was flying in a plane and she has a habit of drinking water constantly. This caused her to get up and go to the bathroom several times. The passenger beside her was actually watchingThe Notebookwhile McAdams sat beside him and every time the actress would get up, the guy would be like“Get out of the way”.

“I saw The Notebook on the plane and I attempt to drink a lot of water when I’m flying and so I had to get up to go to the bathroom and the guy beside me he was like… it was lovely, he was so enthralled but every time I got up he was just staring at the screen and I was this close [pulling two hands close] to him. Walking past him and he’s you know like ‘Get out of the way'”.

“He was like ‘Get out of the way I’m trying to watch Rachel McAdams’. That’s such a weird thing”.

Although this was enough for McAdams to realize her fame, the actress had another encounter while on that plane. Stating that she got up to go to the bathroom at a very specific time, McAdams revealed that she got up right at the moment when the film showed her iconic love-making scene!

As the interview further progressed, McAdams talked about how she got up right when the love-making scene was shown on the screens. The actress talked about how there was a lineup for the bathroom and it was a funny encounter that happened with her.

“And then I’m standing at the bathroom and of course, I go up at the most inoppurtune time when you know, it’s this love-making scene and I’m standing with 2 large screens beside me. There’s a huge line-up at the for the bathroom”
