George Clooney has been in the movie business for over a few years. Through his lengthy career, he has experienced the entire spectrum of success. He has had some massive box-office hits and has been a part of high-profile bombs. The most well-known blunder of his career has to be his 1997 film,Batman and Robin.

There were many reasons why the movie failed. Its inability to take on a serious tone, the joke-like appearances of beloved characters, and its writing, were just a few reasons why the movie was completely shredded by critics. It is safe to assume that after this very public failure, Clooney needed a break and needed to work on a good film.
That was when Steven Soderbergh’sOut of Sightentered the picture. It would seem that the atmosphere this movie provided was exactly what Clooney needed after the DC film’s failure.

“That’s the first time I got to work with Don Cheadle, and we’ve done, I don’t know, seven or eight things together since then, and are very close friends. Don makes every film better. That’s the truth.”
TheOcean’s Elevenactor spoke very highly of the Marvel actor, outright saying that any movie that he was a part of would immediately get better. Such great words hold a lot of meaning coming from an actor as successful as Clooney.

However, it is not surprising, considering Cheadle has gained a reputation for his excellent acting skills and has worked with the Batman actor multiple times since.
Out of SightWas a Good Time for George Clooney
After talking about working with Don Cheadle, George Clooney then talked about what it was like for him to work on the film as a whole. It would seem that the experience was a very positive one for him, looking back very fondly. There were several aspects of shooting the project that stuck out to him. He started by talking about the cast, which was truly spectacular.
“There were so many wonderful performances by so many wonderful actors, and it’s a movie that really holds up. Scott Frank wrote the screenplay, and in general, you couldn’t go wrong with it, because there were such great other supporting roles with wonderful actors in them, but they were such great parts”

The film featured excellent performances from well-known actors like Jennifer Lopez, Isaiah Washington, Catherine Keener, and even Viola Davis. Clooney mentioned that the performances that these stars gave truly added to the magic of the film.
“It’s just really flushed out, great characters, which you don’t get to see all that often. ”He then added, “Honestly, it was just a really wonderful time, and you’re right, it was fun to be in Miami at that point. It was a good time to be there.”
They gave more depth to characters that were already very flushed out, making them even more interesting. The entire experience was a very good one for him, even outside the filming of the movie. It is safe to assume that the actor needed this after theunfortunate performance ofBatman and Robin.
