Unlike the previous livestreams, we will be getting a live stream at a common time now. Earlier what used to happen is that the Chinese live-stream was held earlier, and the English version came at a later time. This time, players will be getting the live stream in different languages all at the same time, so you don’t have to wait. This is quite good, considering the fact that players had to depend on some other streamers to get the English translations.
As far as the contents of the update goes, thanks to the beta, we do know pretty much everything that is coming as part of the update. Ayato is the new character that is arriving in this update, and that was confirmed by miHoYo as well. The Hydro Sword character is hands down one of the most anticipated characters ever, and the hype around it is simply unreal.
Ayato has been referenced for a long time in the game, so all the excitement around his reveal isn’t quite new as such. For those who are unaware, Ayato is actually Ayaka’s brother, so it is not that surprising that there is so much hype for him, considering that his sibling was equally anticipated as well.
