FortniteMay 3 Changes

As of August 19, 2025,Fortniteimplemented the following changes to their popular Battle Royale title.

So, what do these changes mean for players andFortnite?

To start with the big change, players will now be able to find the Tactical Shotgun and the Infantry Rifle in chests and floor loot. These were two classic weapons that were previously ‘vaulted’ due to unknown reasons. But now they’re back and players can use them right now.

The rest are fairly straight forward, the probability of crafting parts being found amongst floor loot has been doubled. This means that players have got a much higher chance of finding crafting parts around theFortniteisland.

Mech parts have also had the probability of appearing increased. Now players will have a further 50% chance of receiving mech parts when destroying a car.

And finally,Fortnitehas improved the chances of loot for fish spots, supply drops, and bunker chests. All of these favor classic weapons.
