The non-official release notes of the upcoming Nvidia Game Ready driver hint at aFinal Fantasy 16PC port. With Gamescom closing in and the base game passing its one-year anniversary,a release date announcement might be imminent.

SeeingFinal Fantasy 16in the release notes is not unusual at all, as we knew from a GameInformer interview that the developer team was wrapping up the final stages of optimization back in March.

The latest DLC for the game,The Rising Tide,also made its debut back in April and received generally favorable reviews fromcritics and players on Metacritic.
With two DLCs already out and the base game approaching its one-year anniversary,an August release date for the PC port of Final Fantasy 16 PC seems like a good bet.

That’s not a big surprise for the fans, though. The game’s producer Naoki Yoshidaconfirmed that the two DLCs and the PC version ofFinal Fantasy 16were in developmentback in September 2023.
