Final Fantasy 16will provide you with a lot of Notorious Marks to seek out and best in combat. You will be able to pick up these marks at theHunt Board. While you may start with C Rank and B Rank marks, there are vastly more difficulty marks to tackle in the later part of the game.

Case and point, the S Rank monstrosity is Gorgimera. What makes this enemy such a hurdle is that other marks can grant you some leeway to move closer and further away at your leisure, but Gorgimera’s large AoE attack will have you constantly need to move where it wants you. Be sure to have practiced your precision timing before seeking them out.

How Do You Find Gorgimera?
Before you will be able to pursue this hunt, you will need to have progressed the main story past “Across the Narrow“. Afterwards, you will be able to pick up this mark at the Hunt Board. Once you have, open up your map andfast-travelon over toThe Velkroy Desert or The Dalimil Inn, located in theDhalmekian Republic. A map image of the exact location has been included above.

How Do You Fight Gorgimera?
Gorgimera hastwo particular abilities you need to be on the lookout for, as these can deal someheavy damage to youand areAoE attacks.
The Dragon’s Voice
Gorgimera willsummon lots of circles on the groundin the shape of a ring,dive forward and start dealing damage close upand these will not hit you.After the lightning strikes these circles, begin moving awayfrom Gorgimera asthey will follow up with an attack surrounding them.
Delta Attack
Three beams of energy will come from above and start to curve along the ground. When they touch, it will create anAoE explosion. When you see these pillars,don’t bother attacking, just get out of there. Once Gorgimera islow on health, they will use a more powerful version of this attackthat will haveseveral of them occur on the field at once. Something worth noting is thatwhen Gorgimera starts to gather flames in its mouth, it will breathe themdirectly ahead of itself, so it will be vulnerable to a side attack.
What Are The Rewards For Completion?
You’re in for some high numbers for your rewards, as beating this foe will net you15,000 Experience Pointsand120 Ability Points. Their drop item isone Orichalcum, and for completing this hunt, you will also be rewarded with20,000 Gil and 50 Renown. If those rewards sound good to you, just wait until you see what you get fromSvarg.
