Sam Raimi’s hit horror franchise,Evil Dead, returns for another iteration as gamers gear up for the official release ofEvil Dead: The Game.

Developed and published by Saber Interactive,Evil Dead: The Gamewill launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this week. The title will also launch on the Nintendo Switch, but an official release date for the platform is yet to be announced.

Thankfully, if you’re picking up a copy ofEvil Dead: The Gameon PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, the official release time will be the same all over the world.

The official release date forEvil Dead: The Gameis, appropriately,Friday, May 13th, 2022.

Saber Interactive took to the officialTwitter account ofEvil Dead: The Gameto confirm that they would be moving the official release time from the previous time of 7AM PT / 10AM ET / 3PM BST to12:01AM local time. This means that regardless of your platform or location,Evil Dead: The Gamewill be available a minute into May 13th.

It was also confirmed by the developers that pre-loading for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S is available now. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like PC players will be able to pre-load before release.

The price ofEvil Dead: The Gamemay vary depending on the retailer purchased from and whether or not you plan on purchasing the Standard or Deluxe Edition of the game.

According to the officialPlayStation Store Page,Evil Dead: The Gamewill cost £34.99 GBP / $39.99 USD for the Standard Edition and £49.99 GBP / $59.99 USD for the Deluxe Edition.
