Ghost of Tsushima, the action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions, is one of the most popular PlayStation exclusive titles to date. The game was released for PS4 and PS5 in 2020 and finally landed for PC on July 09, 2025, and it is already breaking records.

Ghost of Tsushima has become the biggest single-player PC launch for PlayStation.

The game has already beaten the likes of other popular and critically acclaimed PC port games. It is still behind the latest PlayStation hit,Helldivers 2, but that may not be the case for long if the game continues its impressive run like it has in the first week of its launch.

Ghost of Tsushimasaw a slow start during the first day of the release, but it soon picked up during the weekend. The game topped the charts on Steam and took the top spot for PlayStation’s biggest single-player PC launch ever.

The game left behindGod of War, which has an all-time peak of 73,529, which the game hit two years ago upon its release on PC. The game also cruised pastMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which is currently in third place with a concurrent peak of 66,436 players.

The game has recorded over 77k concurrent players, highest ever for a single-player PlayStation game.

At the time of writing, more than 46k players are in the game, and it has already garnered over eleven thousand positive reviews on Steam. The game is also the second-best-selling title on Steam, which is a testament to the title’s reception and shows that players are having a great time.

The Game Is Still Behind Helldivers 2 but Is in a Good Position

Arrowhead Game Studios co-op shooter is still ahead ofGhost of Tsushimaand remains the biggest ever PlayStation title on PC, but it is a multiplayer game and was also launched for PlayStation 5 and Steam on day one, so this feat from the game is still pretty impressive.
